Neither Sprake nor Godden record this combination of colours.

The race horse owner's colours worn by Archer in this portrait are unknown.
It should be noted however that Mr. Dover's colours are recorded on so46 as being " Blue body, Orange sleeves, and Black cap. "
The silk above has every indication as having faded colours, and as blue is known to fade very badly, it is possible the silk above is actually a faded version of Mr. Dover's silk.
