WOVEN IN THE EDINBURGH EXHIBITION 1886
6, 7, 5/9
Henry Milward & Sons,
[woven image of flowers]
Composed of three panels
The case is made of turquoise coloured velvet, and there is no name of the weaver on the needle case.
The woven silk view is of the 1886 Edinburgh Exhibition which is identical to the Stevens' silk picture, st468 - A Present from the Edinburgh International Exhibition, 1886, so there can be no doubt this needle case is of Stevens manufacture.
