This bookmark also has a woven Registration Diamond for 1 August 1871.
Godden records that on that date, a design titled " A HAPPY CHRISTMAS / A NEW YEAR . . " was registered. To date, no such title has been found, and as the silk bookmark above has the woven registration mark, and the title is so similar, it can be assumed the title has been recorded incorrectly, either in Godden's book or at the Registration Office.
