Comments:
This small bookmark, or favour, was issued attached to a stiff backing card, itself in the shape of a bookmark, with the top fold-over of the woven bookmark pushed through a slot cut into the card.

This bookmark was made and issued in North America, with two versions recorded. Whilst the design is identical, the version shown above was woven in South Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. A second bookmark (not shown) was woven in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
The reverse top fold-overs of these two different places of manufacture, are shown below:
