There are two versions of silk portraits with this same title. One is recorded above and the other, with George in full regalia, is recorded as so280.

The portrait above was originally created by Stevens with the title of H.R.H. Duke of C'wall & York (recorded as so612), although with a ribbon across the anchor. That design was registered on 1 May 1901, with number 373526.

Upon his elevation to Prince of Wales, the same portrait design was modified to remove the ribbon from the anchor, although with the addition of his new title. This portait, with the title of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales, is recorded as so540.

Again upon his elevation to King, this same portrait was again modified to remove reference to Prince of Wales, but with the new printed title on the card matt.
