A small upright view of the interior of the Crystal Palace. This subject is first listed on label 21+13+2. Although it remained on later lists into the twentieth century, it did not prove very popular, as specimens are much rarer than the 'front view' subject [st 104 on this site]. It is probable that these upright interior views were sold on souvenir stalls at the Crystal Palace or direct from the looms which the Stevens firm operated at this popular recreation centre for several years
This silk picture is found on card-mount D1 and, later, on mount E1.
