The case is made of a dark blue coloured velvet, and as can be seen, " THOMAS STEVENS, COVENTRY " is printed on the paper packet containing the actual needles.
The woven end panel is part of the Stevens Rectangular Silk, without the woven title, recorded as se235: Wishing you a merry Christmas.
