Comments:
This ribbon is of STEVENS manufacture, as can just be made out on the attached image, showing too the pin on the rear top turn-over:

The words on the ribbon are from Ecclesiastes ch11: v1.

The medal is 4.4cm diameter, and was struck to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Sunday Schools. There is a bust of the founder Robert Raikes (1736-1811) on the reverse, with the words round the edge; " ROBERT RAIKES CENTENARY OF SUNDAY SCHOOLS 1880 ".

On the front is a detailed scene of Christ with the children, with the words beneath: " SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN TO COME UNTO ME ".
