It is not known how this bookmark is signed on the reverse, although as the title is detailed in various Stevens bookmark advertisements as catalogue number 27, there can be little doubt it is of T.STEVENS manufacture.
In addition, the design of this bookmark is the same as the Stevens bookmark sb501: Read, Mark, Learn and Inwardly Digest (narrow ribbon), and that is believed to be of Stevens manufacture.

The original Stevens advertisement words were: "Three bands, with passages of Scripture, "I was glad," etc. ". When the bookmark recorded above was found by Jenni Redman, it was associated with two other bookmarks, each with the same basic design. It is hence believed these three titles are the ones recorded in the Stevens adverts.

The three titles are hence believed to be
