Signed: "T.STEVENS COVENTRY." on back at pointed end, together with diamond registration mark dated to 28 February 1874.
This design however was not registered; and the actual design registered on 28 February 1874
was sb1272 - Many happy returns of the day / (balloon) / Many happy returns of the day, Love / . . . today.

 

Stevens logo and diamond registration mark on the reverse pointed end of this bookmark although this design was not registered.		DAY: 28

This bookmark is very similar to sb1108, also titled "In Commemoration of the Testimonial to Sir Moses Montefiore", except that in the version above the Hebrew writing appears at the end of the bookmark, whilst in the sb1108 version the Hebrew writing appears in the middle.
