Godden records this design as having been registered on 26 February 1874.

Rather than weaving in the Diamond Registration mark, Slingsby tended to stamp it on the back of his silks, in an oval shape, using ink. There is just such a stamped oval on the reverse of this bookmark, although it is rather indistinct.

stamped credit on reverse top turnover of this bookmark

Signed around outside of oval:
" H. SLINGSBY MANUFACTURER NUNEATON. ".

There is also a Diamond Registration mark inside the oval,
on which can just be made out:

Day:
26

Bundle:
5

Year:
U (1874)

Month:
G (Feb)

This same bookmark features as the main decoration of a sash, recorded as osl 88 on this site.
