In a leaflet available with these silk pictures, stating " Series available 1980/81 ", this picture is recorded as being of the FRENCH SILKS COLLECTION.

The picture is titled, " L'Orage " (The Storm), and shows a couple running with a coat over their heads. It is after the painting by P. A. Cot. It was originally made in France by Neyret Freres, and reproduced by Cash.
As recorded above, this picture was produced in two sizes. The smaller version does not have any background, just an image of the couple running, whilst the larger version has an extensive woven background. Both however have the same CASH'S title label on the reverse and both versions are available with plum coloured border.
