Comments:

Whilst this is recorded as a bookmark, it is better described as a favour. It would normally have been issued with a pin behind the top turn-over so the favour could be worn on a coat or hat. This pin version is recorded as cash-bm0255 on this site.

The version of the same woven favour shown above was issued attached to a stiff card, with the printed title of " SOUVENIR BOOKMARK ". The intention being that the favour would remain attached to the card as a keepsake.
