Home Sweet Home
MID PLEASURES AND PALACES, THOUGH WE MAY ROAM,
BE IT EVERY SO HUMBLE, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME.

A CHARM FROM THE SKY SEEMS TO HALLOW US THERE,
WHICH SEEK THROUGH THE WORLD, IS NE'ER MET WITH ELSEWHERE.

HOME, HOME, SWEET, SWEET HOME, BE IT EVER SO HUMBLE,
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME.

Comments:
In this postcard, the chorus words have been included immediately below the words of the verse; with the music of the verse following, then the music of the chorus.
It will be seen that in the 4th bar of the chorus music, the first note is an " A ". The earliest version of these cards had a " G " instead, so the card above is a later version.
