The printed border is unique to Grant, and is the earliest design.
This same postcard was issued as a souvenir at the exhibition, and this version is recorded as gc269: Souvenir of the Greater Cork Exhibition, 1903 (Greater Cork 1903 International Exhibition).
It will be seen that at the lower edge of this silk, there is a V shaped crease. This is typical of bookmarks, and it is possible this silk was intended to be issued as a bookmark, or possibly, was the lower part of a larger bookmark. To date however, this design has not been recorded as a GRANT bookmark.
