SALTAIRE EXHIBITION
This Grant silk picture of the 1887 Saltaire Exhibition, Bradford, was registered on 17 June 1887 under the number 75496. The official title of
the Exhibition was The Royal Yorkshire Jubilee Exhibition; but it is not at present known what printed title was used on the card-mount, for the
only recorded example is the unmounted silk in the Patent Office files of registered designs.
Saltaire was a model industrial town, founded in 1853 by Sir Titus Salt of Bradford. The 1887 Exhibition was intended to promote the erection
of a School of Science and Art at Saltaire.

Other comments:
The image above is not very good quality, although sufficient to be able to ascertain overall design and colours.
