This rare landscape subject does not appear on standard Stevens printed back-labels, and examples do not bear the normal Stevens credit under the picture. It is possible that this subject was especially woven for the Continental market, as were some rare portraits.
An unmounted example of this rare silk is included in the Stevens family presentation book at the Coventry Museum.

Other comments:
Whilst the card mount of the image above does not have any reference to Stevens, nevertheless, the print style, card colour, density, and gold edging to the cut out slot, are all typical of Stevens.
