The Macclesfield Infirmary.
 
 
 
Opened by Lord Egerton of Tatton in 1872,
The Macclesfield Infirmary was built entirely from voluntary
contributions by the people of Macclesfield.
Sainsburys now stands on the site formerly occupied by the
hospital.
