This picture is one of a set of two, the other being The Four-in-Hand.
Back label confirms this picture was copied from an ACKERMANN print, after Henry Alken (1785-1851). The CASH'S name is printed on the back label, where it also confirms these pictures were woven in pure silk. Both pictures were numbered, issues being limited to 3000, with this picture, " THE TANDEM " being the " a ", and " THE FOUR-IN-HAND " being the " b " picture.  |
