Whilst this is recorded as a bookmark, it is better described as a favour. Ordinarily there would be a pin behind the top turn-over so the favour could be worn on a coat or hat, as shown below.

This favour is also signed on the reverse top turn-over " J & J CASH Ltd COVENTRY "
 

 

This same woven favour was also issued attached to a stiff card, with the printed title of " SOUVENIR BOOKMARK ". The intention being that the favour would remain attached to the card as a keepsake. This version is recorded as cash-bm0592 on this site.
