This very rare Grant picture was woven at the Newcastle-on-Tyne Exhibition, between 11 May and 29 October 1887, where Mr W. H. Grant had an "improved Jacquard Loom in motion, weaving high-class silk-goods . . ."
The example [above] is on a special card-mount with the printed wording "Woven in the Exhibition, Newcastle-on-Tyne."
