THE above are, the Ancient Arms of the City
of London, this with the other views, are
woven in pure silk.

The seat of this industry is located in the City of
of Coventry, England, noted alike the world over
for its Ribbons.

The beautiful Art of Weaving Pictures, and Views
in Silk, is comparatively a new branch, having only
been introduced of late years.   Some idea may be
obtained of the delicacy and labour involved, from
the fact, that the views contained in this album,
including the Coat of Arms, contain no less than
10,000 Silk Threads.
