SOUVENIR WOVEN IN THE COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION, CHICAGO, 1893
A woven picture of the exhibition building.

Other comments:
Above is a picture of a loose silk only. The absence of any kind of finish at top and bottom though suggest this silk was intended as a picture.

There is no manufacturers name on either front or back, and is attributed to GRANT as there is a great deal of similarity to the bookmark, " Souvenir woven in the Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893 / (building) / Administration Building " (recorded as gb2160).

Godden records this title, although he describes the building as being " an exhibition building ", whilst it is known from this bookmark that the building is the ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.
