Godden discusses at great length a Grant multi-silk picture, with the printed title, Old Edinburgh Views, and provides a picture of the actual silk on page 421. The actual four individual silks in that frame are identical to the image above, although, whereas the image above has the old world wording of " Ye Olde . . ", the Old Edinburgh Views silk uses the modern " The Old . . ". Also, 'The Old Nertherbow Port' is on the left, and 'The Old Tolbooth' is on the right.

These three individual street scene silks were also issued by Grant as individually mounted pictures.
